The Constantin Hering Foundation is dedicated to promoting homeopathy in science, research and education, and maintains a library for this purpose.
We have been fortunate to acquire an extensive collection of both historical and contemporary literature. This forms the basis of our collection, which is supplemented by books from donations and purchases of important or rare copies.
At our two library locations in Weilersbach and Nuremberg, we not only preserve specialist literature, but also a scientific and cultural heritage in the form of historically valuable works. Homeopathy developed in Germany over 200 years ago and has since spread and gained recognition worldwide.
Although printed materials are more secure against forgery and can be used without electronic media, unlike digital media, digitisation offers a great opportunity. It greatly facilitates access to and processing of knowledge and has become indispensable in recent years.
Supporting online searches and making important literature available in digital form are important to us.
Homeopathy thrives on practical experience and on the collection, use and further development of empirical knowledge.
In future, our library will not only be a repository for this knowledge, but to come to life. This means that the collection will also be available on site for research and study. To do so, you need to contact us informally and register by email. In addition, research inquiries can be made. There are no plans to offer a lending service.
We are in the process of networking with other homeopathic libraries and archives. Cooperation can make many things easier, such as finding works.
