The current board of the Constantin Hering Foundation consists of experienced colleagues who have been actively involved in patient treatment for a long time, as well as a knowledgeable managing director with expertise in commercial matters and a heart for the project.
Together they offer their wide-ranging knowledge and energy to the foundation in order to advance the scientific development of homeopathy and to promote professional practice with the help of quality management (QM) concepts.
As Managing Director of the foundation, it is my task to manage all commercial and administrative matters and to relieve our specialist team of all accounting, legal and bureaucratic requirements.
I have been working as a managing director in various companies in the communications and real estate sector since 1985 and have therefore gained a wealth of experience. In addition, I have been involved in various voluntary commitments in charitable associations and a board position in a charitable foundation for humanitarian purposes.
With the Constantin Hering Foundation for Homeopathic Medicine, a seed is to be planted to lead homeopathy into the future. This includes combining modern scientific knowledge in medicine with the findings of the forefathers of homeopathy with an open mind and a spirit of research and translating them into a modern language.
From my own experience, I am well aware that homeopathy can often help and sometimes literally work “miracles” in expert hands. I am therefore all the more pleased to be able to support this exciting project - the “Constantin Hering Foundation for Homeopathic Medicine” - with my professional commitment.

As the focus of my work on the board, I see the foundation's goal (promotion and advancement of homeopathy at a scientific level) as something to pursue and achieve together with my Heilpraktiker and naturopathic colleague Tjado Galic, drawing on my medical expertise. In doing so, it is particularly important to me to build bridges in dialogue - both between the professions of doctors and naturopaths, and between homeopathy and representatives of conventional medicine.
After completing my basic training for the Diploma in Homeopathy, which was largely based on the homeopathic approach of James Tyler Kent, my homeopathic work was influenced by homeopaths and supervisors from a wide range of disciplines. These include Lars Broder Stange, Henny Heudens-Mast, Andreas Holling, Michael Kohl and Tjado Galic.
These diverse experiences have taught me that access to patients and their healing cannot be achieved through a specific or even dogmatic methodology, which is why my way of working cannot be categorised as belonging to any of the described homeopathic directions. Due to the focus on "paediatrics", the homeopathic diagnosis of non-verbal signs has become an increasingly important focus of my work.
Since its early beginnings, homeopathy has gone through many waves - ups and downs.
Due to the gradual abolition of homeopathy in the medical training regulations and the attacks on alternative practitioners, I currently see the danger that the training and application expertise in homeopathy among doctors and alternative practitioners will continue to dwindle.
I want to counteract this in a cross-professional team. At the Constantin Hering Foundation, I have found highly qualified and dedicated colleagues who share the great vision of taking homeopathy to a new, higher level in the future
Like Constantin Hering, whose work 200 years ago made the great heyday of homeopathy in the USA possible, I see the Constantin Hering Foundation as an opportunity to create such an upswing again today. For me, high quality, great commitment and a shared vision are the three cornerstones that make up our foundation team.

The past period of my practice activity since 1995 has run completely parallel to the development of EBM and all the associated changes in medicine.
It was like a paradigm shift to observe how clinical research perspectives narrowed one-sidedly by relying primarily and solely on empirical analysis and thus losing sight of the individual person in need of help.
At the same time, scientifically grounded theory formation for homeopathy is stagnating. Ranging from technical terminology to modes of thinking, developments have become entangled in paradigmatic disputes within and around homeopathy.
A good solution is to expand the purely scientific and mathematical way of thinking to include the human scientific achievements of the last 150 years and thus create new perspectives. On such a basis, broader research approaches can be developed that will lead to new, more far-reaching insights.
In my vision, the Constantin Hering Foundation is the think tank that defies all monster waves like a lighthouse and sustainably illuminates all paths for the development of homeopathy. The aim is to further develop the scientific perspective in such a way that new knowledge can be created that flows into research and teaching.
In this way, a humane medicine is also promoted, in which homeopathy has a significant place in patient care if it is practised with expertise and connoisseurship on such a basis.
