Organs of the Foundation

The Constantin Hering Foundation for Homeopathic Medicine operates selflessly and pursues exclusively charitable purposes. Its aim is to develop interdisciplinary cooperation between homeopathy and conventional medicine for the benefit of patients. It is always open to interested parties, solicits financial and informational support for scientific projects, and thus creates a growing professional expertise of homeopathic medicine. The foundation is managed by a board of professional and economic experts and supported by a scientific advisory board. Legal organization of the foundation

The Constantin Hering Foundation is an unincorporated foundation under civil law, administered in trust by Hamburger Stiftungstreuhand e. V., c/o the law firm ASG Asche Stein Glockemann Verstl Wiezoreck, based in Hamburg. It operates selflessly and does not primarily pursue its own economic purposes, but rather directly charitable endeavors. The foundation's non-profit status also stipulates that no person may benefit from expenses that are alien to the purpose of the foundation or from disproportionately high remuneration. For example, the members of the Management Board perform their activities on an honorary basis.

The Board of Directors

Consisting of three to a maximum of seven persons with a term of office of four years, the main task of the board of directors is the management of the foundation. This includes, in addition to the management of the Foundation's accounts and the resolutions on the use of the Foundation's funds, the annual financial statement and the communication with all responsible authorities. Therefore, the members have special expertise and experience with regard to the fulfillment of the Foundation's tasks and are knowledgeable in legal, financial and economic matters. The members of the Board of Directors meet as required, but at least twice a year. In addition, they also attend meetings of the Advisory Board. The first Management Board was appointed by the establishment of the Foundation in 2021.

The Advisory council

The Advisory Board of the Constantin Hering Foundation for Homeopathic Medicine advises the Board of Directors on the activities of the Foundation and consists of at least two and at most fifteen persons. It is made up of respected personalities with the relevant expertise.

The first members of the Advisory Board were appointed by the Board. In the event of future personnel changes, the members of the Advisory Board shall decide together with the Executive Board by simple majority vote.

The Advisory Board shall meet at least once a year and shall be regularly informed about important decisions of the Executive Board.

The term of office of the Advisory Board members is four years, with re-election being permitted.
