Care in outpatient homeopathic practice covers a broad spectrum - from accompanying premature babies, through the infant and toddler phase, schoolchildren and adolescents in their development, the specific disease situations in adulthood and the special requirements in geriatrics. Homeopathy is also used in small animal and farm animal practice.
The current care situation was determined in a detailed survey in 2017 and 2018. The results of this significant sample are published here in full for the first time and provide an overview of the general consultation and treatment concerns, the need for support during specialist diagnoses and therapies as well as emergency management with its important topics for homeopathic practice.
As a special feature, the clinical differential diagnoses with their ICD-10 and ICPC-3 codes are made available for download. In addition, differential diagnostic considerations are assigned to the individual indications and sorted according to statistical frequency in outpatient practice. These are also available for registered users from the medical profession to download in PDF format (see in the individual sections).
In further sections, the basic medical skills for a professional homeopathic practice are presented in an updated form. The differences and similarities to general medicine will be given special emphasis.
The primary project "Best-Practice Homeopathy" will present the QM criteria for the entire practice and form a basis for certification processes (best-quality excellence). This concept is still in preparation.
